Antigua & Barbuda to host Caribbean Travel Marketplace in 2025 Antigua and Barbuda has been chosen as the location for the 43rd Caribbean Travel Marketplace (CTM) organized by the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA). The announcement was made during the State of the Tourism Industry Conference (SOTIC) in the Cayman Islands, where Caribbean stakeholders gathered. Dominican Republic, unstoppable: achieves record 6.9 million visitors through July Tourism continues to register “sustained and extraordinary” growth in the Dominican Republic, reaching a record 6,968,623 visitors in the first seven months of this year, which brings the historic figure of 31,947,565 visits from August 2020 to July 2024. Aerolíneas Argentinas expands flights to Punta Cana Aerolíneas Argentinas is set to increase its flight offerings to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, for the upcoming 2024/25 summer season. The airline will introduce new frequencies from Córdoba and Buenos Aires/Ezeiza and launch two new routes from Tucumán and Rosario. This update comes shortly after Arajet announced it would replace its daily flight from Santo Domingo/Las Américas with a Punta Cana-Buenos Aires route starting October 28, 2024. According to Aerolíneas Argentinas’ website, the number of weekly flights from Buenos Aires/Ezeiza will rise from four to five between November and December, further increasing to six per week (every day except Sundays) from January to March. According to information the executives of Transcargo, the answer is yes. In a meeting with the foreign press accredited in Cuba, the company's Director General, Jorge Lara Tellez, informed that at the end of May they had distributed 109,708 packages of non-commercial cargo (parcels) from 90,300 clients.
