Grand Velas Boutique Los Cabos: For mature audiences only

Grand Velas Boutique Los Cabos: For mature audiences only As far as I'm concerned, the only way to improve on an already fantastic all-inclusive resort is to make it adults-only. A kids-free environment just makes a resort feel even more romantic and chic. Case in point: The Grand Velas Los Cabos is, in my opinion, one of the best all-inclusive resorts in Los Cabos since it opened in 2016. But the smaller, luxurious, child-free Grand Velas Boutique Los Cabos, which opened right next door in December, takes it up a notch with its 79 suites and seaside perch overlooking the point where the Sea of Cortes meets the Pacific Ocean. I loved this hotel from the minute I checked in. The design taps into the elegance of Los Cabos, with soaring ceilings and expansive views out to the turquoise water. The open-air lobby has a row of cozy couches clustered around fire pits, perfect [...]

A vibe of peaceful seclusion awaits at the Secrets Tulum

A vibe of peaceful seclusion awaits at the Secrets Tulum An overview of the main pool area and property complex at Secrets Tulum Resort & Beach Club, a Hyatt all-inclusive resort.Photo: Nicole Edenedo A beach oasis in the middle of the jungle. That's the look and feel of the Secrets Tulum Resort & Beach Club. Part of Hyatt's Inclusive Collection, the adults-only resort has been open for about six months. Staff here told me the 300-room resort was at about 70% occupancy when I visited in mid-April, but it didn't seem that crowded. The resort was quiet and peaceful while walking around in the daytime, with only a few guests scattered in different corners, never too many people at one time in one area. It felt like a secluded wellness retreat. The resort's design team clearly was going for this vibe of peaceful seclusion, from guestrooms to public areas. [...]
