Sandals “sets its eyes” on the Dominican Republic for its great tourism potential
Sandals Resorts International is analyzing new destinations for its luxury resorts such as the Dominican Republic and Mexico, after its most recent opening of 260 rooms in Jamaica, as the company focuses on offering its clients new experiences.
The hotel chain’s CEO, Gebhard Rainer, said his goal is to stay competitive in the all-inclusive segment.
“We have set our eyes on the Dominican Republic for being one of the destinations with the highest tourism in the Caribbean and where we are not present,” he added.
Likewise, Rainer pointed out the importance of destinations in Mexico, since his clients are always looking for new places to rest.
“The hotel company is attentive to the opportunities presented by the market, that is, they are aware of those assets that have difficulties making these conversions, what they call “Sandalizing” a property like this is collected by Costar”, emphasized the manager.
