Grenada to host the CTO Sustainable Tourism Conference
The Caribbean Tourism Organization’s (CTO) Conference on Sustainable Tourism Development will be held in Grenada on April 22-24, 2024.
The beginning of the conference coincides with the international Earth Day celebration on April 22, which will be held in 2024 under the theme “Planet vs. Plastics.”
Known as the “Spice Isle,” for its production of spices like nutmeg, Grenada is located south of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The island’s Minister of Tourism, Lennox Andrews, thanked the CTO for selecting the island to host the conference following the organization’s State of the Tourism Industry Conference, which was itself held in the Turks and Caicos.
