Iberostar Cuba to Showcase Latest Innovations at FITCuba 2026

Iberostar Cuba Hotels & Resorts is set to take a prominent role at the 44th International Tourism Fair, FITCuba 2026, unveiling a range of new offerings and significant discounts for travelers across its portfolio.

According to a press release issued this Friday, the Mallorca-based chain is inviting guests to immerse themselves in the diverse rhythms of Cuba, with a particular focus on Varadero. As the island’s premier seaside destination, Varadero will be the centerpiece of FITCuba, as this year’s fair is dedicated specifically to the “Sun and Beach” segment.

One of the chain’s newest highlights in this iconic resort town is the Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul, which has been under the company’s management since January 1st. This 814-room all-inclusive resort is undergoing a comprehensive transformation to strengthen its local and international standing. The strategic repositioning includes asset renovations, the integration of cutting-edge technology, optimized sales channels, and a focus on talent development.

Planned upgrades for this year include remodeling the buffet area, renovating 250 guest rooms, and refurbishing the pool in the “Relax Zone.” A defining feature of this resort is its unique entertainment strategy, which includes high-end concepts such as the Star Show Dinner Experience, Cinecar 50 Experience, Beach Party, and the Sunset Experience.

Furthermore, the Iberostar Selection Varadero is debuting its Star Prestige VIP zone, a specialized area tailored for families seeking a premium experience. This facility offers numerous amenities designed to provide a more exclusive and engaging stay.

In the capital, the chain’s Havana portfolio—comprising the Iberostar Grand Packard, Iberostar Marqués de la Torre, and Iberostar Selection Parque Central—continues to attract travelers with substantial discounts of up to 40%.

The information released by the chain regarding its presence at FITCuba also highlights various resources and tools available to clients participating in the event, both through the virtual platform and in person.

Finally, Iberostar reaffirmed its commitment to sustainability as a core strategic pillar. Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and its own 2030 Agenda, the company continues to focus on reducing its environmental footprint, protecting the oceans, and integrating circular economy practices, with the ultimate objective of achieving carbon neutrality by 2030.
