Cayo Santa María: The paradise rediscovered by Destinos Gaviota 2025

By Daily Pérez Guillén

More than 3,000 visitors from 45 countries will gather in Cayo Santa María from this Monday, September 15, until September 20, to participate in the 7th Destinos Gaviota Tourism Trade Fair.

The “historic” figure for this event was announced by the President of the Gaviota Tourism Group, Carlos M. Latuff, at the opening ceremony, which was organized so that attendees could enjoy the excellence, hospitality and festive atmosphere offered by this “hidden Caribbean paradise” in a single evening.

Latuff attributed the record number of participants not only to the prestige achieved by Destinos Gaviota, but also to “the trust they place in Cuba and in Gaviota as strategic partners.”

Musician Alexander Abreu was one of those who shared his art on the opening night of Destinos Gaviota 2025.

In Cayo Santa María, the company presents its new products: Playa Luxury, a superior concept of luxury and distinction, and Playa Kids, created so that the little ones can experience a world designed especially for them.

The president announced that new experiences and services will be revealed in the coming days that will revolutionize the all-inclusive concept. “Among them, I want to reveal a very special proposal that will be born right here in Santa María, a project that will further enrich the destination’s offers,” he announced.

Latuff also specified that Destinos Gaviota is a space for business and an opportunity to discover the best of Cuba: its culture, its gastronomy, its nature and the warmth of its people.

“We want every moment of this event to be an unforgettable experience, confirming that Cuba remains a unique destination in the Caribbean, capable of reinventing itself and always surprising,” he expressed.

The inauguration took place at the One Gallery hotel, but in the coming days, participants will tour Cayo Santa María’s other hotel facilities and enjoy the destination’s tourism offers.
