Varadero: Venue of Destinos Gaviota in 2026
By Daily Pérez Guillén
The Varadero resort will host the Destinos Gaviota Tourism Trade Fair in 2026, announced the President of the Gaviota Tourism Group, Carlos M. Latuff, on the closing night of the seventh edition in Cayo Santa María.
“With our eyes set on the future, a future that calls us to continue dreaming big,” the company set the date for next event for September 13-17 on “Cuba’s most famous beach, where tradition, modernity, and nature intertwine to show the world the infinite potential of our beautiful island,” he said.
Addressing tour operators, partners, colleagues, and accredited media, the group president highlighted the special nature of this seventh edition, held in Cayo Santa María. “Today marks the end of a very special edition of Destinos Gaviota 25. An edition that has not only been a professional gathering, but a symbol of strength, unity and hope. In Cayo Santa María, we have experienced the spirit of this rebirth,” he stated.
During the event, participants toured beaches, enjoyed local cuisine, and experienced Cuban culture in all its richness. “Once again, we confirm that Cuban hospitality is incredible. You, us, partners and friends, have been an essential part of this rebirth,” Latuff added.
The president stated that “This island, marked by nature and challenged by adversity, rises stronger, more beautiful, and more authentic than ever. Like it, we too have learned to renew ourselves, to find in every difficulty an opportunity to grow and to offer the best of Cuba to the world.”
The Gaviota Group also presented its 2025-2026 events calendar, designed to offer the Cuban experience year-round through culture, music, sports and tradition.
