Two new Caracol events coming in 2026

The Caracol S.A. Commercial Enterprise has big plans for next year, as it prepares to launch two new events in attractive Cuban destinations. Lin Fong Barrueto, the company’s Marketing director, made this announcement during the 38th edition of the Partagás Friends and Clients Meeting.

Barrueto revealed to TTC that the events will include “Humos de Primavera” (Spring Smoke), organized by the Comodoro branch, and an event dedicated to Cuban rum, hosted by the Santiago de Cuba branch, recognized as the birthplace of this iconic beverage.

During her remarks, the director emphasized the importance of the Partagás Friends and Clients Meeting, considered the most prestigious event organized by Caracol and one of the most significant for the Ministry of Tourism. “This event has been a catalyst for other gatherings, such as Asia-Havana, Experiences and Traditions, and The Cueto Legacy,” she commented.

The director also stressed that events are a crucial source of revenue for Caracol, as well as a platform to promote the brand beyond its physical stores. “Our clients are drawn to these activities, and we continue to offer iconic Cuban products such as rum, tobacco and coffee,” she added.

Caracol S.A. operates an extensive network of stores offering high-quality products in Cuba’s main tourist destinations. With more than 700 locations nationwide, most are in Havana and Varadero, including 13 of the 18 Casas de Habano on the island. Each store features an exclusive selection of products and personalized services, highlighting world-renowned brands such as Cohiba, Romeo y Julieta, and Montecristo.

In addition, it has expanded its reach into e-commerce, offering light dining and souvenir sales. International customers can make online purchases using credit cards, facilitating access to Cuban products from abroad.
