Royalton creates collection for independent luxury resorts
Royalton Hotels & Resorts has created the Royalton Reserve Collection, a portfolio of independent luxury resorts. The first member is the Paraiso de la Bonita, a Luxury Collection Resort on Mexico’s Riviera Maya.
The property will now operate as Paraiso de la Bonita, a Luxury Collection Resort, Riviera Maya, Adult All-Inclusive, Member of Royalton Reserve Collection.
Royalton envisions that the collection’s resorts will “embody authenticity, creativity and a commitment to reimagining the art of luxury all-inclusive hospitality.”
As part of the Paraiso de la Bonita’s transition into the Royalton Reserve Collection, the adults-only all-inclusive will introduce Royalton’s signature Diamond Club suite category, which features butler service and other amenities. Some existing suites will join this category.
On Dec. 15, the resort will open its Chairman Building, a Diamond Club-exclusive venue with a private beach area, pool and bar areas and restaurants, and a cooking studio. The building will also house 10 oceanfront suites, bringing the Paraiso de la Bonita’s total inventory to 100 accommodations.
Concurrently, the property will debut an outpost of The Royal Spa, Royalton’s signature spa concept. The spa will offer hydrotherapy, chromotherapy, a salt room, a beauty salon and a fitness center.
The Luxury Collection is a Marriott International brand. Royalton Hotels & Resorts, which formerly operated as Blue Diamond Resorts, has partnered with Marriott International since 2021, with the bulk of the company’s all-inclusive portfolio also affiliated with a Marriott-owned brand.
