Motivos Cubanacan to return in November

By Daily Pérez Guillén

The second edition of the “Motivos Cubanacan” event, organized by the Cubanacán Hotel Group, will take place in November and will be dedicated to exploring and enhancing travel opportunities in the eastern part of the country. The announcement was made by the company’s Vice President, Yaima Suárez, at the event that brought together partners and collaborators to celebrate the 38th anniversary of the hotel chain.

“It will be an opportunity to rediscover together a region rich in culture, history, music and nature; and to strengthen our offers in an increasingly competitive market,” the vice president emphasized.

Cubanacán is working on an improvement plan for the 2025-2026 winter season to showcase a renovated hotel product with a better image, according to Suárez. This is intended to meet the expectations of potential, loyal, and operator customers.

In this regard, she specified that food and beverage standards and corporate menus are being reviewed. She announced that the all-inclusive service will be reintroduced at the Playa Girón hotel, located in the Peninsula de Zapata Natural Park.

For 38 years, this hotel company has specialized in creating memorable experiences. “Cubanacán, the best way to discover Cuba, has 118 hotels with over 17,000 rooms, located both in natural settings and in cities of the main tourist destinations in our country. We have developed various brands that combine sun and beach products, nature, culture and tradition. And we have done so with a vision of offering high-quality, sustainable, safe and distinctive tourism services,” the vice president stated.

She also highlighted the company’s innovative approach and its international alliances with prestigious hotel chains such as Meliá, Iberostar, Blue Diamond, Blau, Muthu, and other business partners. “These partnerships and our joint ventures reflect the confidence in our management model and in Cuba’s potential as a tourist destination,” she stated.

Suárez added that the company’s future vision is directed toward innovation, sustainability, and digital transformation, in line with new trends, “because today’s traveler is looking for new opportunities, experiences, comfort, authenticity, and respect for the environment and local culture, in a fully connected world.”

The Cubanacán Hotel Group was created by Fidel Castro on August 5, 1987, to showcase the country’s natural beauty, vibrant culture and hospitality to the world.

The celebration took place in the modern Capitol Leven section of the Iberostar Selection Parque Central Hotel.
