The reopening of the tourism sector is advancing in Cuba to boost the local economy hit by of the Covid-19 epidemic aftermath, local authorities of the sector disclosed on Twitter.
Cuba described as an success the country reopening when celebrated the Cuban Tourism Day last November 20th.
The Island remembered the 62nd anniversary of the creation in 1959 of the first specialized tourism agency in the country, the National Institute of Tourism Industry (INIT).
Mintur sent an acknowledgment to all Cuban workers “who supported the country during the COVID-19 pandemic”, according to a message in Twitter.
Cuba reopened its economy, especially its tourism industry on November 15.
According to Mintur, the very important sector for the Cuban economy is gradually recovering its dynamism.
