FIHAV 2025 to be held from November 24 to 29
The XLI edition of the Havana International Fair (Fihav 2025) will take place from November 24 to 29 at its usual venue, the Expocuba fairgrounds, as announced by Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment, Oscár Pérez-Oliva Fraga, on Tuesday afternoon at a press conference.
The choice of this new date in the calendar of annual events is due to the “strategy of minimizing weather risks, especially after last year’s experience when Hurricane Rafael forced us to suspend the fair just 48 hours after its inauguration,” Pérez-Oliva explained.
The Organizing Committee will offer a 30% discount on participation fees to exhibitors affected in 2024 who are interested in registering this year. Exhibit space prices will also remain unchanged, taking into account the country’s complex economic situation.
Rafael Alejandro Rodríguez, director of Pabexpo, announced that 723 firms (441 foreign and 282 domestic) from 61 countries, together with the Eurasian Economic Union and the Latin American Economic System, participated in Cuba’s main commercial trade fair in 2024.
Representatives from some 21 nations have confirmed their attendance this year. As from Wednesday, official announcements will be sent out with all the information that exhibitors must have in order to accredit their participation in the fairgrounds, which comprise of 25 pavilions and more than 19,000 square meters of commercial area.
In November, the VIII Investment Forum will also take place, as well as a broad agenda of other business meetings, product presentations, thematic fairs, specialized conferences and the updated launching of the Portfolio of Business Opportunities with Foreign Capital.
The organizers will share more information for those interested on the website https://cuba.feriahabana.cu.
