Cuba Única campaign takes to the streets of Italy

The Cuba Única (Unique Cuba) tourism campaign features on two streetcars in the Italian cities of Rome and Milan, with the aim of promoting the tourist and cultural potential of the island destination, according to the Cuban Tourism Office in the European country.

The initiative is another means to showcase the benefits of travel to Cuba to future visitors, using vehicles that run along the central streets of these cities, as well as posters on advertising panels and in subway stations.

A similar campaign was seen in Toronto, Canada in November 2023. At that time, Lessner Gómez, director of the Cuban Tourism Office in Canada, told TTC that the MINTUR campaign, created to promote and consolidate the destination in countries that are key markets for tourists to the island, had also had a presence in Montreal, Ottawa, Calgary and Halifax, as well as through social networks, national media and in sector events.

Cuba Única is an international tourism promotion campaign that focuses on the welcoming Cuban people as an important tourist attraction, marking the difference compared to other competitive destinations in the Caribbean area, according to the communications company in charge of the creative proposal, DISSET Consultors.

This advertising design targets the main international markets and showcases a hospitable and open nation that combines tradition and modernity. The campaign’s promotional video has won several awards since it was presented in May 2022 at the International Tourism Fair.
