China authorized tourists to travel Costa Rica and 69 other countries

According to a news article from Q Costa Rica, the government of the People’s Republic of China has authorized tourists to travel in groups to 70 other countries, including Costa Rica.

This is one of the latest measures being lifted by Chinese authorities in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

It is worth noting that the United States was by far the main country of origin for inbound tourism in Costa Rica in 2021, accounting for roughly 870 thousand tourist arrivals in the Central American country.
