Cabo Rojo and Puerto Plata set to lead Caribbean cruise arrivals in June 2025

The Dominican Port Authority (APORDOM) announced that the ports of Puerto Plata (Amber Cove and Taino Bay) and Cabo Rojo will headline the June 2025 cruise season, with a total of 26 cruise ship arrivals expected. These destinations are key to the country’s growing appeal in the international cruise market.

Puerto Plata continues to shine as a premier northern cruise stop, set to welcome ships from major lines like Carnival Cruise Line, Norwegian Cruise Line, and MSC Cruises. At the same time, Cabo Rojo, located in the southwest, is gaining momentum as a rising port and tourism hub, with arrivals from Royal Caribbean and other global carriers.
