World’s second largest cruise ship docks island of Cozumel The island of Cozumel welcomed Royal Caribbean International’s Utopia of the Seas, the second largest cruise ship in the world. The vessel docked at the SSA Mexico terminal, one of the most modern and largest in the country. Hailing from Port Canaveral, Florida, Utopia of the Seas sails under the flag of the Bahamas, part of Royal Caribbean International’s renowned Oasis class. The ship, which launched in July 2024, has a capacity for more than 7,000 passengers and nearly 2,300 crew members.
