Dominican Republic advances in the recovery of tourism

The Minister of Tourism of the Dominican Republic, David Collado, announced that he is working together with different sectors in the last details prior to the entry into force of the new provisions and sanitary protocols of the Responsible Tourism Recovery Plan, now ready to be implemented starting this September 15.

It´s official: Between January and July, five million tourists arrived in Mexico by air

During the first seven months of this year, five million seven thousand international tourists arrived in the country by air, which represents a decrease of six million 780 thousand travelers compared to the same period of 2019.

UNWTO ministerial meetings – shared determination to restart tourism and drive recovery

Over the past month, the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) was able to hold virtually meetings of its five Regional Commissions to share responses to the challenge of COVID-19 and their plans for the restart of tourism in the wake of the pandemic.

Suspended the Havana International Fair, FIHAV 2020

The Organizing Committee of the Havana International Fair (FIHAV) reports that, as a consequence of the current international epidemiological situation it has been decided to suspend FIHAV 2020 and hold the XXXVIII edition of the Fair in November from 2021.
