Neos promotes Italian tourism with new Milan-Punta Cana flight

Neos airline is set to introduce two new destinations for the 2024/25 winter season. For the first time, the Italian carrier will connect Milan/Malpensa (MXP), Italy, with Cartagena (CTG), Colombia, and Punta Cana (PUJ), Dominican Republic.

These new routes will operate on a weekly, triangulated schedule from December 22, 2024, to April 27, 2025. According to the Cirium platform, Neos will offer up to 13,642 seats across both destinations using its Boeing 787-9 aircraft, configured with 359 seats: 28 in Premium class and 331 in Economy.

With the addition of Cartagena, Neos will become the third airline to offer flights from this Colombian city to Europe, joining Plus Ultra (Madrid) with four weekly flights and KLM (Amsterdam) with daily service.

New Neos Flight Schedule:

  • Milan/Malpensa to Punta Cana (NO 790): MXP 08:30 – 13:00 PUJ / Sundays
  • Punta Cana to Cartagena (NO 790): PUJ 15:00 – 16:30 CTG / Sundays
  • Cartagena to Milan/Malpensa (NO 790): CTG 18:00 – 09:40 (+1) MXP / Sundays

As Italy’s largest leisure airline and the second largest in terms of long-haul destinations, Neos maintains a significant presence in key Caribbean beach destinations. It connects Milan to Cuba (Havana and Holguín), Mexico (Cancún), Guadeloupe (Pointe-à-Pitre), Jamaica (Montego Bay), the Bahamas (Freeport), and the Dominican Republic (La Romana). Additionally, it offers flights from Rome to Havana, Cancún, Pointe-à-Pitre, and La Romana.

Neos operates a fleet of five Boeing 737-800s, five Boeing 737 MAX 8s, and six Boeing 787-9s.
