Delta Airlines will be restarting its Cuba service in 2023 with two daily nonstop flights from Miami to Havana, an airline source said.
The route will kick off on April 10, 2023, and will be operating on Airbus A320 aircraft with First Class, Delta Comfort.
Delta began its first flights to Cuba in the modern era back in 2016 until stopping service with the onset of the pandemic.
A Delta statement said it remains “fully committed to restoring its network by next summer”.
The news comes as American Airlines recently relaunched service to five different airports in Cuba.
Four more airlines are offering 147 weekly flights from the United States to Cuba since last November.
These carriers are American Airlines, JetBlue, United Airlines, and Southwest Airlines. American Airlines has the largest schedule to the island, with 84 weekly flights and 14,539 seats available
