Cuban Minister of Tourism Juan Carlos Garcia continues his working visit to Canada, where he has held meetings with local entrepreneurs to stimulate business with Cuba’s major tourist-sending market.

The official Twitter account of the Cuban Embassy in Ottawa reported that Garcia met with two Canadian institutions in charge of boosting national entrepreneurship to do business abroad.

Garcia has a busy working agenda in Canada with tours and presentations in major cities of this nation.

On Wednesday, the Canadian delegation presented Destination Cuba and the new Unique Campaign in Montreal, which was attended by major Canadian travel agencies.

Also present were the Cuban Deputy Tourism Minister Adalberto Venero and the commercial director of that Ministry, Gihana Galindo, as well as the Consul General of Cuba in Montreal, Susana Malmierca.

Garcia also met with the top executives from tour operators, airlines and the Hotel and Tourism Institute in Quebec.
