Islazul Hotel Group about to celebrate its 30th anniversary

The Islazul Hotel Group will celebrate the 30th anniversary of its foundation in August, and is set to present its promotional campaign to mark the occasion at the FITCuba International Tourism Fair.

Islazul is characterized by its presence all over Cuba through the La Aldaba brand, with a wide range of hotels located in the center of the country’s cities and in areas of remarkable historical and cultural value, usually close to cultural facilities, restaurants and other sites of interest.

It also owns the Solarena brand, with beach hotels located in important tourist resorts of the country, such as Havana, Varadero, Holguín and Santiago de Cuba. On this occasion, Cuba’s International Tourism Fair, FITCuba 2024, to be held in Cayo Coco, Cayo Guillermo and Cayo Paredón in the central province of Ciego de Ávila, will be dedicated to Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as Nautical Sports. Islazul Hotel Group’s most important markets in Latin America are Mexico and Brazil.

The airlines flying from Brazil are Copa Airlines, LATAM Airlines, American Airlines, Cubana de Aviación and Avianca, which connect cities including São Paulo, Belo Horizonte, Porto Alegre, Brasilia, Río de Janeiro, Manaus, Salvador, Fortaleza-Ceará and Florianópolis with Havana and Villa Clara, with at least one stopover (Lima, Asunción, Panama, São Paulo or Porto Alegre) and more than 35 weekly frequencies.

Meanwhile, Viva Aerobus, Magnicharter and Aeromexico operate from Mexico with a total of 30 weekly frequencies connecting the Mexican cities of Cancun, Merida, Monterrey, Mexico City and Santa Lucia with the Cuban provinces of Havana, Villa Clara, Camagüey and Holguín.
