Havanatur S.A. updates its online sales site

The digital platform of the Havanatur S.A. International Group of Tour Operators and Travel Agencies has a new design and incorporates tools to facilitate booking tourist services in Cuba, the company announced through its official social media channels.
The new version of the site—available at www.havanatur.cu—introduces significant improvements to the user experience with a more comprehensive, faster, and more intuitive interface, and a responsive design that allows booking from any device.
Among the key new features are the ability to make reservations in incognito mode, as well as the addition of a shopping cart that allows multiple payments for services in a single transaction. Customers registered on the previous version must renew their registration to access the new features. Payment methods remain the same: Cuban pesos (CUP) through the Transfermóvil and Enzona platforms.
On the site, users can book accommodations, transfers, tours, and other experiences throughout Cuba. The update is part of a broader company strategy to consolidate its presence in the digital environment, enhance the platform with B2B and B2C services, and respond to the growing demand for online bookings it has experienced in recent years.
Havanatur S.A. International Group of Tour Operators and Travel Agencies was founded on December 19, 1978, as a wholly Cuban-owned company, with the mission of attracting tourists to Cuba and other destinations, providing excellent inbound service and personalized assistance. On March 1, 1995, after 17 years of operations, the entity changed its name from Travel Agency to the International Group of Tour Operators and Travel Agencies it is today, consolidating its position as the leading Cuban tour operator.
The redesign of the national online sales site is part of other technological and commercial modernization efforts undertaken by the company, including the launch of specialized products such as a tourism line for the LGBTQ+ community. The commitment to digitalization and product diversification reinforces Havanatur’s strategy to solidify Cuba as a unique destination for travelers worldwide and to facilitate travel planning for both industry professionals and the general public.
